About Hopfenhaus
Hopfenhaus was built originally in the 1890s, as a farmhouse for Hops. The house was built typical to the style of the Franken Seenland region, that is with thick walls of locally sourced Sandstone. Key feature of the Hopfenhaus is the four floors under the roof used for storing and drying hops, with a tower to push hot air into the Hops floors. Traditionally, one half of the two base floors was built as living space, and the other half as stables for cattle. Over the century, the Hopfenhaus has undergone several modifications, the most recent being conversion to fully modernised and comfortable holiday homes for your perfect holiday gateaway! At Ferienwohnungen Hopfenhaus there is cheerful cool space to hang out indoors as well as a wonderful big garden with tones of space for adults and children to run around or relax. Located in a quiet yet easily accessible part of downtown Spalt, Hopfenhaus offers a comfortable and cozy vacation home, within a stone’s throw away from several of Spalt’s tourist attractions.
